On November 7, 2024, we had the honor of making a technical visit to Quilombo Mesquita, located in the municipality of Cidade Ocidental, Goiás. This important meeting was attended by our CEO, Héctor José Orea Pulido, accompanied by the directors Héctor Orea, Juan Nicora, Pablo Sugastti, Ángel Meza and Rachid Llaudy, with the participation of Mrs. Sandra Pereira and Mrs. Sandra Andrade, representatives of the Coordenação Nacional de Articulação das Comunidades Negras Rurais Quilombolas (CONAQ), as well as Bento Afonso Oliveira De Souza and Samuel Ozeias Alve representing COOPSAF. During the visit, a proposal for the design of the new social headquarters of Quilombo Mesquita was presented. This project seeks to strengthen the community infrastructure and contribute to the development of the region, respecting and preserving its traditions and cultural needs.
