Masdar, the renewable energy company owned by the United Arab Emirates, has unveiled a $6 billion project aimed at generating 1 gigawatt of uninterrupted clean power. The facility, located across 90 square kilometers in the Abu Dhabi desert, was announced during the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and is expected to be operational by 2027.
