
Peter Knez
Board Member
Peter Knez, formerly Chief Investment Officer at BlackRock, is widely recognized for his exceptional leadership, under which assets under management (AUM) grew from $5 billion to $40 billion in the United States, and subsequently doubled to $80 billion globally. Prior to his time at BlackRock, Peter held key roles at Lincoln Capital Management and Goldman Sachs, where he significantly drove the quantitative research and fixed income sectors.
In addition to serving as Board Member of the Board of Oreasoc Group, also chairs the board of ALLINDEX, an innovative FinTech platform specializing in the creation, customization and monitoring of customized indices. His expertise extends to advisory roles in various digital and financial analytics platforms. He also chairs the Venom Foundation, where he leads the development of robust and scalable blockchain infrastructures that are key to the creation of self-sustaining ecosystems.
His strong academic background includes studies at the Kellogg School of Management, the University of Wisconsin and the University of Chicago. Peter earned his PhD from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Chicago, focusing on time structure and asset allocation models.
